Every Chobi rug in this line starts on a loom in Afghanistan, where a weaver ties each knot by hand. The pattern is a Chobi, the style Afghan weavers developed specifically to mimic the soft, aged colour of an antique Persian rug using new wool. The wool is undyed or naturally dyed where possible, so the colours are warm rather than flat, and the pile is dense enough to handle a busy household.

At 291 x 237 cm (9.5 x 7.8 ft), it's a solid anchor for a living or dining room — big enough that furniture can sit on it rather than around it.
