This piece is a hand-knotted Chobi rug from Afghanistan — no two ever come out quite the same. It's woven in the Chobi style — an open field, a restrained border, and a colour palette built to look decades old the day it's finished, and you can see the difference up close. It's knotted from 100% wool with natural dyes, which is why the tones sit slightly muted rather than looking printed or synthetic.

Sized 290 x 204 cm (9.5 x 6.7 ft), it's roomy enough to define a seating area without swallowing the rest of the floor.
