Every Chobi rug in this line starts on a loom in Afghanistan, where a weaver ties each knot by hand. It's woven in the Chobi style — an open field, a restrained border, and a colour palette built to look decades old the day it's finished, and you can see the difference up close. The wool is undyed or naturally dyed where possible, so the colours are warm rather than flat, and the pile is dense enough to handle a busy household.

At 340 x 230 cm (11.2 x 7.5 ft), it's a solid anchor for a living or dining room — big enough that furniture can sit on it rather than around it. Being hand-knotted, it should soften and settle in over the first few months, the way natural-fibre rugs are meant to.
