Brown Afghan Chobi 314x250cm
Every Chobi rug in this line starts on a loom in Afghanistan, where a weaver ties each knot by hand. The pattern is woven with the muted, vegetable-dyed palette the Chobi style is known for — soft rust, camel and ivory tones that mellow with age instead of fading out. The wool takes natural dye unevenly on purpose, which is what gives a handmade rug that slight variation a machine-made one can't fake.
At 314 x 250 cm (10.3 x 8.2 ft), it's a good middle-of-the-room size — large enough to matter, not so large it fights the furniture. Warm browns and rust dominate the field — the classic Chobi colourway, and one that hides everyday wear well. It ships as the individual piece shown in these photos; once it sells, that particular rug is gone.
