Chobi Sultaan rug 8'2x10'3

This Sultaan-pattern rug is hand-knotted in Afghanistan on 100% wool, the traditional way, with no shortcuts. The pattern is a Sultaan-pattern Chobi, woven with a denser knot count and a richer, more saturated palette than a standard field piece. Made from 100% wool with natural dyes, the colour has real depth to it — the kind you only get from pigment worked into the fibre, not sprayed on top.

This one comes in at 249 x 312 cm (8.2 x 10.2 ft), a size that works well as the main rug under a sofa or dining table. One rug, one weaver, months of work — which is also why no two pieces in this range are identical.
