Afghan Atlas wool rug - boutique size 297x207 cm

This piece is a hand-knotted Chobi rug from Afghanistan — no two ever come out quite the same. The pattern is a Chobi-pattern piece, named for the muted, sun-faded palette the style deliberately imitates using vegetable dye rather than fading over decades. The wool is undyed or naturally dyed where possible, so the colours are warm rather than flat, and the pile is dense enough to handle a busy household.

At 297 x 207 cm (9.7 x 6.8 ft), it's a good middle-of-the-room size — large enough to matter, not so large it fights the furniture. It ships as the individual piece shown in these photos; once it sells, that particular rug is gone. It's currently reduced from SR 6,780 to SR 6,763.
