This Chobi rug is hand-knotted in Afghanistan on 100% wool, the traditional way, with no shortcuts. The pattern is a Chobi-pattern piece, named for the muted, sun-faded palette the style deliberately imitates using vegetable dye rather than fading over decades. The wool takes natural dye unevenly on purpose, which is what gives a handmade rug that slight variation a machine-made one can't fake.

At 196 x 152 cm (6.4 x 5.0 ft), it's a good middle-of-the-room size — large enough to matter, not so large it fights the furniture. As with any hand-knotted rug, expect small irregularities in the weave — that's the process working as intended, not a flaw. Currently marked down from SR 4,500 to SR 3,277.
