Afghan handmade rug,Chobi. Size: 230x170 cm

This piece is a hand-knotted Chobi rug from Afghanistan — no two ever come out quite the same. The pattern is woven with the muted, vegetable-dyed palette the Chobi style is known for — soft rust, camel and ivory tones that mellow with age instead of fading out. The wool is undyed or naturally dyed where possible, so the colours are warm rather than flat, and the pile is dense enough to handle a busy household.

At 230 x 170 cm (7.5 x 5.6 ft), it's a good middle-of-the-room size — large enough to matter, not so large it fights the furniture. It ships as the individual piece shown in these photos; once it sells, that particular rug is gone. It's currently reduced from SR 4,800 to SR 4,301.
