This piece is a hand-knotted Chobi rug from Afghanistan — no two ever come out quite the same. It's a Chobi-pattern piece, named for the muted, sun-faded palette the style deliberately imitates using vegetable dye rather than fading over decades, and you can see the difference up close. It's knotted from 100% wool with natural dyes, which is why the tones sit slightly muted rather than looking printed or synthetic.

At 195 x 155 cm (6.4 x 5.1 ft), it's a good middle-of-the-room size — large enough to matter, not so large it fights the furniture. It ships as the individual piece shown in these photos; once it sells, that particular rug is gone.
