Woven by hand in Afghanistan, this Chobi rug is the sort of piece that gets better with a bit of foot traffic. The pattern is woven in the Chobi style — an open field, a restrained border, and a colour palette built to look decades old the day it's finished. Made from 100% wool with natural dyes, the colour has real depth to it — the kind you only get from pigment worked into the fibre, not sprayed on top.

This one comes in at 242 x 180 cm (7.9 x 5.9 ft), a size that works well as the main rug under a sofa or dining table. As with any hand-knotted rug, expect small irregularities in the weave — that's the process working as intended, not a flaw. Currently marked down from SR 4,800 to SR 4,792.
