Afghan handmade rug,Chobi. Size: 260x169 cm
Every Chobi rug in this line starts on a loom in Afghanistan, where a weaver ties each knot by hand. The pattern is woven in the Chobi style — an open field, a restrained border, and a colour palette built to look decades old the day it's finished. Made from 100% wool with natural dyes, the colour has real depth to it — the kind you only get from pigment worked into the fibre, not sprayed on top.
At 260 x 169 cm (8.5 x 5.5 ft), it's a good middle-of-the-room size — large enough to matter, not so large it fights the furniture. Being hand-knotted, it should soften and settle in over the first few months, the way natural-fibre rugs are meant to. This one's on sale right now — SR 4,900 down to SR 4,833.
