This piece is a hand-knotted Chobi rug from Afghanistan — no two ever come out quite the same. It's woven in the Chobi style — an open field, a restrained border, and a colour palette built to look decades old the day it's finished, and you can see the difference up close. It's knotted from 100% wool with natural dyes, which is why the tones sit slightly muted rather than looking printed or synthetic.

At 236 x 172 cm (7.7 x 5.6 ft), it's a solid anchor for a living or dining room — big enough that furniture can sit on it rather than around it. As with any hand-knotted rug, expect small irregularities in the weave — that's the process working as intended, not a flaw.
