This piece is a hand-knotted Chobi rug from Afghanistan — no two ever come out quite the same. It's a Chobi-pattern piece, named for the muted, sun-faded palette the style deliberately imitates using vegetable dye rather than fading over decades. The wool takes natural dye unevenly on purpose, which is what gives a handmade rug that slight variation a machine-made one can't fake.

At 250 x 174 cm (8.2 x 5.7 ft), it's a solid anchor for a living or dining room — big enough that furniture can sit on it rather than around it. Being hand-knotted, it should soften and settle in over the first few months, the way natural-fibre rugs are meant to. It's currently reduced from SR 5,200 to SR 4,785.
