Woven by hand in Afghanistan, this Chobi rug is the sort of piece that gets better with a bit of foot traffic. The pattern is a Chobi, the style Afghan weavers developed specifically to mimic the soft, aged colour of an antique Persian rug using new wool. Made from 100% wool with natural dyes, the colour has real depth to it — the kind you only get from pigment worked into the fibre, not sprayed on top.

Sized 226 x 148 cm (7.4 x 4.9 ft), it's roomy enough to define a seating area without swallowing the rest of the floor. Because it's handmade, the piece you receive is the exact one photographed — not a reprint of a stock image. It's currently reduced from SR 3,900 to SR 3,679.
