This piece is a hand-knotted Chobi rug from Afghanistan — no two ever come out quite the same. The pattern is a Chobi-pattern piece, named for the muted, sun-faded palette the style deliberately imitates using vegetable dye rather than fading over decades. Made from 100% wool with natural dyes, the colour has real depth to it — the kind you only get from pigment worked into the fibre, not sprayed on top.

This one comes in at 286 x 187 cm (9.4 x 6.1 ft), a size that works well as the main rug under a sofa or dining table. Being hand-knotted, it should soften and settle in over the first few months, the way natural-fibre rugs are meant to. It's currently reduced from SR 6,500 to SR 5,883.
