Afghan handmade rug,Chobi. Size:296x200 cm

This is a hand-knotted Chobi rug, made the slow way — one knot at a time, on a floor loom, by a weaver in Afghanistan. It's woven in the Chobi style — an open field, a restrained border, and a colour palette built to look decades old the day it's finished, and you can see the difference up close. Made from 100% wool with natural dyes, the colour has real depth to it — the kind you only get from pigment worked into the fibre, not sprayed on top.

At 296 x 200 cm (9.7 x 6.6 ft), it's a good middle-of-the-room size — large enough to matter, not so large it fights the furniture. Because it's handmade, the piece you receive is the exact one photographed — not a reprint of a stock image. Currently marked down from SR 9,040 to SR 6,512.
