Woven by hand in Afghanistan, this Chobi rug is the sort of piece that gets better with a bit of foot traffic. It's woven with the muted, vegetable-dyed palette the Chobi style is known for — soft rust, camel and ivory tones that mellow with age instead of fading out, and you can see the difference up close. Made from 100% wool with natural dyes, the colour has real depth to it — the kind you only get from pigment worked into the fibre, not sprayed on top.

Sized 368 x 276 cm (12.1 x 9.1 ft), it's roomy enough to define a seating area without swallowing the rest of the floor. As with any hand-knotted rug, expect small irregularities in the weave — that's the process working as intended, not a flaw.
