Green forest chobi rug 303x250cm
This Chobi rug is hand-knotted in Afghanistan on 100% wool, the traditional way, with no shortcuts. It's a Chobi-pattern piece, named for the muted, sun-faded palette the style deliberately imitates using vegetable dye rather than fading over decades. The wool takes natural dye unevenly on purpose, which is what gives a handmade rug that slight variation a machine-made one can't fake.
Sized 303 x 250 cm (9.9 x 8.2 ft), it's roomy enough to define a seating area without swallowing the rest of the floor. Deep forest green runs through the pattern, a less common colourway for this style and a striking one against timber floors. As with any hand-knotted rug, expect small irregularities in the weave — that's the process working as intended, not a flaw.
