This Chobi rug is hand-knotted in Afghanistan on 100% wool, the traditional way, with no shortcuts. It's woven in the Chobi style — an open field, a restrained border, and a colour palette built to look decades old the day it's finished, and you can see the difference up close. The wool is undyed or naturally dyed where possible, so the colours are warm rather than flat, and the pile is dense enough to handle a busy household.

At 310 x 490 cm (10.2 x 16.1 ft), it's a solid anchor for a living or dining room — big enough that furniture can sit on it rather than around it. Navy anchors the palette, giving it more contrast and formality than the usual muted Chobi tones. One rug, one weaver, months of work — which is also why no two pieces in this range are identical.
